DeClub Macau wants to build the world’s first blockchain casino

A new partnership has been formed that could see the introduction of the next generation of all the casinos. DeClub, a casino management company from Macau, has linked with Malta-based investment company Wide Rich Global Company to deliver blockchain and gambling closer together.

According to a company press release, DeClub suggests that Wide Rich wants to get the gaming company to build the”world’s first blockchain-based casino gaming pulse with fully integrated online and land-based casinos.” To finance the purchase, Wide Rich is supplying a first coin offering (ICO), which it hopes will let it attract up to $1 billion.

At a white paper about the project, Wide Rich countries,”The tokenization of chips, casinos and their neighboring entertainment service providers are going to be able to construct a more pan-gambling business ecosystem collectively, to ensure people with varying business requirements — in tourism, to company meetings, to purchasing — can all gain simple and cost -efficient access to personalized and prestigious providers on their mobile devices.”

During the ICO, Wide Rich will subject the”DEC” token, giving purchasers rights to sponsor and put money into cash lending pools. At the same time, DeClub will offer its own token, the”NNC,” that are stablecoins that may be redeemed to be able to cover goods or services at casinos.

Macau has a rather strict anti-ICO policy. The Monetary Authority of Macau prohibits banks and other financial institutions from providing services to some entity from the crypto sector nonetheless, private-sector ICOs aren’t included in the ban.

This is not the first time that someone attempted to combine crypto together with casinos. Dragon Corp introduced an ICO at 2017 that sought to raise $500 million to its Dragon Coin, part of which was to be used to build a floating casino. These plans, however, never made it off the pier following the principal contractor supported.

There’s not any reason to expect this newest project to progress, either. Before this season, Macau’s gaming regulator said that cryptocurrency would not be accepted as a way of currency in Macau. If Wide Rich desires to determine their project achieve success, they’ll have to find a different location, or risk the fury of over a few investors once the job stalls.
